STS WESTERN IRON - How & Why They Work
If you are riding in rural areas and paddocks there can be undulations and holes that can cause a horse to stumble or fall. Further if you are campdrafting, cutting or barrel racing whereby your horse is leaning down on one side when making sharp turns with a possibility of slipping over putting the rider at a high risk of being hooked up in the stirrup iron. The STS irons unique angled and post design stops your feet slipping forward and the open section overcome this problem and in the event of a fall can prevent the rider from being hooked up and dragged.
